Exclusive Feature: Busy travelers know it's not always easy to get in a workout while on the road. When energy hits, most of us take to the fitness center at the hotel.

Many hotel fitness centers are including more state-of-the-art technology, like the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, which allows guests to use USB and their mobile device to save workouts, Tweet or Facebook from a piece of cardio equipment, or create playlists for that day's exercise regime.

InterContinental is launching EVEN Hotels, the first hotel brand geared strictly to health-conscious travelers. Many boutique hotels, including the Kimpton brands, offer exercise equipment to guests and have an exercise channel on TV.

Now, the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is taking exercise videos to a new level with the launch of the world’s first digital, customized in-room fitness program, created specifically for Four Seasons guests by Blue Clay Fitness, one of the premier health and fitness training firms in Southern California.

The new digital fitness program uses a certified fitness trainer to dynamically create a personalized workout session for guests, and is then delivered to the iPad devices, which are available in all 285 guest rooms and suites and the hotel.

Here's how it works: Hotel guests complete a guest survey, which goes to Blue Clay Fitness celebrity fitness trainer Rick Hagaman. Hagaman then provides virtual personal training for guests through easy to follow workout videos, all which use nothing more than the guest’s own body weight or a complimentary Fitness Kit, including resistance bands and yoga mat.

For guests who want to take their workout with them, the instructional videos can also be delivered to personal emails for use on individual iPads, smartphones or gaming devices. According to the hotel, the videos and workout combinations will continue to evolve and offer new programs every time a guest returns to the property.

Now there's no excuse for not getting in that workout!
